A new anime season is arriving, and with it will come numerous new series. Mieruko-chan is worth keeping an eye out for in the fall of 2021, particularly for lovers of the eerie, the funny, or both.
Mieruko-chan: Introduction
Mieruko-chan is a comedy-horror manga series by Tomoki Izumi. In 2018, it started serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s ComicWalker. In North America, publishing is managed by Yen Press. The manga is currently ongoing. Yuki Ogawa is in charge of the animation, while Kenta Ihara is in charge of the series. Kana Utatane is the composer and Fumiyuki Go is the sound director. Yuka Takashina, Masahide Yanagisawa, Kyoko Kametani, Katsuzo Hirata, Hideki Hashimoto, and Chikashi Kadekaru are the principal animation directors of the show. Passione, the studio responsible for Citrus and High School DxD Hero, is animating the next anime adaptation. The show stars Sora Amamiya with Miko Yotsuya, Kaede Hondo together with Hana Yurikawa, and Ayane Sakura alongside Yulia Nikaid.

What the story is all about?
Mieruko-chan chronicles the story of Miko Yotsuya, a high school student who can see frightening animals and ghosts. She has a pretty ordinary life and wants to spend time with her family and friends. The youth’s intelligence is beyond his years, as she sometimes seems to weary him with his repetitious life. She recognizes the significance of slowing down and living in the moment. Miko’s expertise becomes beneficial as she begins to see horrifying monsters, fantasies, and ghosts roaming about her and the people she loves.
Because no one else can see these horrifying objects, the high school kid has no choice except to act boldly in response to their sudden appearance. Miko is determined to remain unaware of the existence of extraterrestrial creatures to protect his best friend Hana from danger. However, her composure and courage should not give the impression that she does not suffer in the face of adversity. Despite enduring awful horrors daily, she continues to behave altruistically every day.
Intriguingly, paranormal acts and events have a horrific past, and as the novel develops, Miko learns that not all creatures she encounters are the same. In reality, their appearances and subtle modes of communication differ greatly. This series is an excellent starting point for anybody interested in gothic anime. Horror fans should be prepared for a fascinating journey, as the narrative is replete with several twists and turns that may surprise anybody.
Mieruko-chan: Release Date
The episode of Mieruko-debut chan should premiere on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Mieruko-chan Episode 1 will debut in Japan at 10:00 p.m. (JST). On October 3, the cartoon will air on AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS-NTV. Funimation will stream the anime series.

Is Mieruko-chan on Netflix?
Currently, Mieruko-chan is only available on Netflix Japan. It can soon be made accessible in more locations.

Currently, the show has two official trailers. They are both attractive and terrifying, and their arrival is anxiously awaited. The trailers contain English subtitles, so we hope that the show will be available in English or at least have a dubbed version so that fans from all around the globe may watch it! Due to the popularity of the manga, this anime is without a doubt one of the most anticipated for its genre in 2021.
