The fourth episode starts off with bringing Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) to Karachi, Pakistan to visit her Grandmother, Sana, and discover more about her great-grandmother, Aisha. She is steadfast in her resolve to learn more about her Djinn ancestors.
There, she is fortunate to come across an organisation known as ‘The Red Daggers,’ a group dedicated to protecting humanity from the Clandestine and other Djinn. A little misunderstanding occurs, but it is resolved, and Kamala works with them to learn about her origins and powers.
But it isn’t long until she is pursued by the escaping Clandestines, who battle alongside the Red Daggers and Kamala over Karachi’s streets. Finally, a dagger is inserted and pierced directly into Kamala’s power bracelet (which the Clan Destine are after).
Following this, the circumstances get peculiar as Kamala finds herself transported back to the Karachi train station, but not in the current day, but in the 1940s, during the Partition of India and Pakistan, an episode that has been discussed throughout the series up to this point.
This encounter makes Kamala remember what Bruno mentioned regarding the bracelet. According to Erik Selvig’s study, if the bracelet is tampered with, something terrible and unexpected will occur.
The fourth episode concludes with Kamala standing above a train, seeing the pandemonium of massive crowds of people urgently attempting to board a train to reach safety.
