Narcos: Mexico delves into the beginnings of the present drug war, focusing on its inception and roots. The battle started at a period when the Mexican trafficking world was quite visible, and there was a fragmented and disorderly confederation of freed farmers and dealers.
The programme follows the birth and fall of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Felix Gallardo takes over the leadership, merging and uniting the traffickers in order to construct a powerful empire. Kiki Camarena, a DEA agent, moves his family, including his wife and little kid, from California City to Guadalajara to take up a new designation. Kiki is a diligent cop who is ambitious, resourceful, and clever.
The military conducts a devastating attack on the marijuana growing area, resulting in the destruction of the majority of the territory. Gallardo, on the other hand, convinces the local trafficking boss, Pedro Aviles Perez, to send Rafael “Rafa” Caro Quintero and Ernesto “Don Neto” Fonseca Carrillo to Guadalajara to negotiate with the local Naranjo brothers for the Sinaloans to relocate there.
And, as expected, the brothers reject, but Felix has a backup plan to persuade them: a ruthless takeover. He joined forces with the Commander of the Direccion Federal de Seguridad (DFS), Juan Jose Esparragoza Moreno, also known as El Azul. El Azul is accompanied by his superior, DFS Director General Salvador Osuna Nava. The Naranjo brothers and Pedro are finally assassinated, establishing Felix’s area organisation as the region’s principal marijuana trafficker.
Meanwhile, Kiki quickly discovers that his assignment would be much more difficult than he could have anticipated. As Kiki gathers the information team on Felix and becomes increasingly involved in his goal, a terrible and hazardous series of events begins to develop, affecting the drug trade and the fight against the trade for the foreseeable future.

Those who are real Narcos fans, however, were not surprised by this news. This is due to the fact that Narcos has three seasons. So it seemed almost inevitable that Narcos’ sibling series would have the same amount of seasons. Perhaps the creators will alter their minds in the future, and there will be a new Narcos Mexico Season 4 update. Season 3 concluded with Arnado’s death. We also saw Ramon Arellano Felix, one of the Tijuana Cartel’s leaders, try to assassinate the Sinaloa Cartel’s commander. Prior to it, he was assassinated by Sinaloa Cartel thugs. So that’s how the programme ended, and there will be no more Narcos Mexico.
