Schitt’s Creek has won many people’s hearts with the tenderness, comedy, and love shown throughout the series. It provided six fantastic seasons for fans, who were enamoured with the programme and eagerly awaited Schitts Creek Season 7.
But, tragically, the programme has come to an end after six exciting seasons and will say its last farewell to fans and viewers on April 7, 2020, with the episode titled ‘Happy Ending.’ It was the fourteenth episode of Schitt’s Creek’s sixth season.
The programme was produced and arranged by Dan Levy and Eugene Levy in such a manner that the audience felt highly immersed in it. Schitt’s Creek is a Canadian drama series that premiered on the CBC network on January 13, 2015. The series was later shown on Pop TV in the United States.

Plot Summary of Schitt’s Creek
The plot revolves on a wealthy family led by Johnny and Moira Rose, who are husband and wife, and their children, David and Alexis. The family is newly wealthy. Johnny’s video shop empire, which is the second-largest in North America, is responsible for the family’s fortune.
Moira’s fortune enabled her to abandon her job as a daytime soap opera actor since she doesn’t need to work with so much income and luxury. The family has always lived a flamboyant and glamorous existence. Johnny and Moira’s adult children are spoilt and have always had anything they wanted on a silver platter from birth, and they do not have to work, nor have they ever understood how.
However, their lives abruptly alter due to the events that drive them to go bankrupt. All of their fortune is lost save for one property that Johnny purchased for his kid as a joke: Schitt’s Creek, a little backwater community.
The family has no choice but to relocate and live there. They begin their stay at the Schitt’s Creek Motel. The Schitts are the town’s founding family, and they wield enormous power in their own, apparently simple ways.
The Rose family tries a variety of methods to return to their prior existence. Meanwhile, they must strive to acclimate to their new existence in their new house, which is far outside of their comfort zone and sensitivities.

Schitts Creek Season 7: Why did the show End?
Throughout all six seasons, the series was adored. The sixth season of the comedy-drama programme premiered on CBC in Canada on January 7, 2020, and lasted four months until April 7, 2020, when the series finale aired.
As the series’ fifth and sixth seasons were accepted, the producers began planning the drama’s conclusion. The director claimed that he hoped to conclude the programme and tale correctly by separating it into two parts, implying that there will be no Schitts Creek Season 7.
The decision to end the series while it was in high demand was made and confirmed by the whole cast of the programme. In an interview with Variety, Levy mentioned:
“I DID NOT WANT TO COMPROMISE ON QUALITY OR STORYTELLING AT ANY TIME.” IT JUST DIDN’T FEEL WORTH THE RISK TO TAKE IT ANY FURTHER. THE GOAL WAS FOR THIS FAMILY TO REALIZE THE VALUE OF LOVE BY THE END OF THE SHOW. MONEY CAN BANDAGE A LOT OF THINGS TEMPORARILY. BUT THEY COULD NEVER BUY THE CLOSENESS THAT THEY HAVE BY THE END OF THE SERIES.”
The director fulfilled the program’s goal and did not want to extend or dramatise it any more since he did not want the viewers’ affection for the show to go away. That is why the programme stopped, and there will be no Schitts Creek Season 7. But we’d never forget how the concert changed our lives.
