Only a small percentage of the millions of episodes accessible on Netflix are created and produced by the streaming service itself. And we’ve seen how Netflix has grown in popularity by providing us with some of its original shows. Today, we’ll speak about a Netflix original that has been named one of the best ten shows in the world. Yes, you guessed correctly… The theme for today is ‘Sex Education‘. Since its debut on the internet streaming site Netflix, the British dramedy series aimed at Generation Z has rated as a top-tier series from all over the world. The programme is created by the OTT platform. The first season of the programme premiered in 2019, and we have seen two more seasons since then, with the plot continuing in full force. Although the programme has only been on the air for four years, the cast is already looking forward to bringing the audience Sex Education Season 4.
A Quick Recap
The conclusion of the third episode has definitely hinted that the programme would return for a fourth season. So, before we get into the debate of Sex Education Season 4, let’s take a short look at what we’ve seen in previous seasons.
Otis (Asa Butterfield) is a high school student who serves as both a mentor and a problem solution. His sex therapist mother, Jean, has taught him a great deal about psychology and sexuality (Gillian Anderson). Maeve (Emmy Mackey) noticed his ability and together they create a sex clinic to tackle the sexual issues of the other pupils. Otis develops affections for Maeve while she is completely oblivious. We saw at the conclusion of the previous season that Maeve is heading to America to study in college since she received a scholarship. Otis and Maeve have affections for each other now, and when Maeve informs him she is leaving for the United States, Otis replies, “So, it’s a goodbye?” Maeve responds with’see you shortly.’ So, be assured, Sex Education Season 4 will undoubtedly be released.
Is This The End of the Show?
When it comes to Sex Education, we can’t talk about it without mentioning the main players. However, it is possible that Sex Education Season 4 will be the series’ last edition. At the very least, it will be the final time we see our beloved characters. Nobody can escape the clutches of time. As a result, the characters are unavoidably becoming too old to portray teens. They were all in their early to mid-twenties when we first saw them playing their roles. They’ve all grown up in the last four years, and some of the characters will be in their thirties in the next two or three years. As a result, the show’s makers will have to either terminate the tale with Sex Education Season 4 or leave the stage to the next generation to narrate the story of Moordale High School.
Aimee Lou Wood, the actress who plays Aimee Gibbs, has said that they need to terminate the programme as soon as possible since she will be approaching her 30s. She is a university student, but she is not interested in playing a youthful fresher at the age of 35. “I absolutely believe they should stop right now,” she said.
